Our area is under a rare Level 4 Risk for most of central NC. The primary threats will be damaging wind gusts of 74 mph+ and tornadoes, some strong.

Great advice from our friends at NC Emergency Management:
✅Know your severe weather plan with your family, friends, and neighbors. Where will you go if the weather gets bad? Where will you seek shelter? How will you be informed?
✅Make sure you have ways to be informed- enable emergency alerts on your cell phone so you can get warnings for your area.

Follow the US National Weather Service Raleigh, NC, local media, and Ready Guilford for the latest.

When you know better, you do better….I am in my “Doing Better” Season and I am loving all of the “Better” that God has put in my life 🙌🏾

🌻🖋️ As author and poet Maya Angelou so powerfully said: “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”

Cone Health is privileged to serve a diverse five-county region, and our team members reflect the communities who place their trust in us every day. is an opportunity to honor the achievements, resilience and contributions of Black individuals – past and present –whose leadership, innovation and advocacy have shaped health care, science, education and society as a whole.

🩺🔬 In health care especially, we recognize the vital impact of Black clinicians, caregivers, researchers and support professionals who have advanced patient care, championed equity and strengthened community well-being – often in the face of significant barriers. Their work reminds us that diversity is not only a value; it is essential to delivering compassionate, high-quality care for all.

This month – and throughout the year – may we continue learning from one another, listening with intention and committing ourselves to building a workplace where every individual feels respected, valued and empowered to contribute fully. 💙
