Each Memorial Day, The Citizens National Bank pauses to remember, to honor, and to pay respect to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

Today is a day to reflect on the service of the brave men and women who fought in defense of our freedoms, our shared values, and our way of life. As we reflect on their service this Memorial Day, let us remember what their sacrifice means and commit to upholding the American values worthy of that sacrifice.

The Friendship Club spent the day in 3 small towns in KS, we saw some very beautiful things. First stop the Vera Haus AirBNB Venue owned and hosted by Kate and Dana Bergsten Jr. in Douglass. What a beautifully restored vintage home. Lunch at Sugar Shane’s in Augusta and then on to Benton for our last stop at Infinity Art Glass Studio owned by Scott and Gwen Hartley. Scott does some very unique pieces, he was amazing to watch. What a beautiful Kansas day with some awesome friends. Thank you for spending your day with us.

What a fun morning at the Clay Center/Greenleaf Social. John from Elk Creek Gardens had some beautiful plants for us. John is always so helpful answering many of our plant and landscaping questions. The Friendship Club spent last Thursday-Sunday on a spring trip to Branson. We enjoyed some wonderful entertainment at the Music Festival and also took in 3 evening shows Grand Jubilee, Clay Cooper and the Haygoods. The weekend was busy with shows, great meals and a little time for some shopping. We appreciate each one of you that traveled to Branson with us. Thank you, Diane & Lynda

Please join us in congratulating Diane Bieker on her 10-year milestone at The CNB! Diane is a CSR at our Concordia facility and director of the Friendship Club.

Diane tells us that the very best part of her job is the customers. Interacting with them and helping them resolve issues is, in her words, "the highlight of every day." She is equally grateful for her co-workers, appreciating the kind support of a great team throughout her years of service.

One of Diane's favorite parts of her role is the Friendship Club connection, which she describes as "absolutely the most fun and the thing that keeps me coming back for more!" She genuinely enjoys the community of people she gets to make travel memories with and call friends.

Outside of work, Diane's top priority is spending leisure time with loved ones, and she has been making every effort to free up her schedule to be available for anything and everything grandchild-related.

Congratulations, Diane, and thank you for your 10 years of dedicated service to The CNB!
