I buy Postage Stamps is dedicated to the hobby of Stamp Collecting. I buy and sell all types of Postage Stamps and stamp related items. I have no brick and mortar store so I have no overhead cost other than the actual cost of buying your collection. With no overhead cost, I can offer more money to you and sell for less. I only buy in the North Florida and South Georgia area. I buy the stamp collec

tions and pull what I want to build my personal collection. I then break the rest of the collection down by areas and sell to specific area/theme/ country collectors to ultimately break even. I am often asked why you should sell to me instead of selling the collection yourself. That is a great question and the simple answer is why would you sell them at all? You are selling for one of two reasons.

1. You inherited or acquired a stamp collection and you are not a stamp collector.
2. You want to cash out on your investment. If you are in group #1 then you will find that the stamp world is not easy to make connections in. It takes me years to sell a large collection and stamps are my passion. Do you want to spend that amount of time trying to sell one stamp at a time or sell everything in one shot. I buy it all and pay cash the day I take possession.

I get questions all the time from people wanting to know what a valuable stamp collection looks like. Here is one example. This collection was put together by a lifelong collector (me). Im not saying your collection is not valuable if it isn't put together like this. I am saying that I have been doing this for over 50 years and I know what I'm doing. Not all stamps have value. Please dont be offended if I am not interested in buying your collection because if I bought every collection I look at I would be very poor, very quickly, and have tons of junk. If you put a stamp collection together when you were a kid then I am 99% sure I am not interested. If you inherited the collection form a true collector like me then I am 50% sure I may be interested. Every collection is different so there are no 100% rules. Call me!

Sometimes its the story more than the item. These covers were all sent by the same man as he traveled around Pre-war Asia in 1940. They were sent to his friend Frank Stroner in Chicago. Frank later joined the Marines and faught on Okinawa where he received a Purple Heart. Frank survived the war and kept these covers the rest of his life. I bought them from his daughter Sandra because I love Philatelic covers. I know they are a little rough but they are beautiful in my eyes. Just sharing:

Why sell to me:
I buy and sell stamps every day and have been doing so for over 50 years on a part time basis. Stamp collecting is a passion of mine and now that I am retired from my real jobs I have the time and money to pursue this passion full time. I belong to multiple philatelic organizations and have the connections in the stamp world to sell what I dont want to keep. Im not looking to cherry pick your collection and leave the junk behind. I want to buy it all or nothing! I enjoy the interaction involved with buying and selling stamps and that is how I plan to spend the next 20 years. Selling stamps is very time consuming and time is money but it is what I enjoy. If you are willing to spend 100's of hours on research and listings, all in hopes of selling a $500 collection one stamp at a time, then you also have a passion for stamps and should not call me. Sell them yourself over the next year or two. If you don't want to deal with all that and want to sell the entire collection in one transaction then I am your man!
