I sound like a broken record but clients keep telling me these "rogue" bondsmen/scammers blow up their phones with BS, lies and miss information. They make the bail business seem ghetto and trashy like it was over a decade ago. They won't last telling lies and being deceptive. Do not pay someone for a bond over the phone unless you know who they are, they will steal your money. Face to face payments is how I've been doing it lately. I still out perform ANY bondsman, bet that. They make it easy being the the "Best in Clay" for the 6th year in a row. Making bail bonding great again. Don't be fooled by the lies and get scammed, I'm always 100% at my office, not "virtual office". 501 N Palmetto Avenue behind Burger King.

I can't say it enough, folks should be very cautious doing business over the phone with alleged "officers" or other alleged bail bonds men that don't have a local office near the jail. If you know bondsmen in Duval, that's different. Don't get scammed. Get it done with us. We know what happens at the Clay County Courthouse.

Be careful of these scams going around. Calls in the evening on numbers you never gave out. Asking for payment over the phone for programs, to bond your loved ones out. Here in Clay County they have to go to bond hearings at 8am before bonds are set, the "no contact orders" are issued, etc .... Check the bail bond business name online and the agent's name. Make sure of who you're dealing with. Make sure you're dealing with a local bondsmen who knows the County and Court system. We know everyone at our Courthouse, the Clerks, the Judges, the Jail Officers and their Supervisors. You won't be afraid to work with my Bond Office, we know the Clay County System and everyone in it.

Besides the new policies at the Clay Jail, there have been clients talking about scammers. Besides the ones who can see public records there are some bail agents from outside of Clay County. They buy "programs" to look into "more than" a person's public records and call or text family members on numbers they get from these questionable programs. My advice is to contact or go to a physical business or get "all" the bail agents information before sending a payment. These folks are NOT permanent and won't make it long if they REALLY are licensed bail agents. Ask them for a face to face meeting because there is NOBODY faster than I am at getting that bond posted here in Clay County.

There has been an increase to the "weirdness" in getting folks out of jail. The jails have new policies on warrants and holding folks over to see the judge to issue a "no contact" order after a bond hearing. Even if there is a set bond posted, you may have to spend the night. Make sure you get "all" the details from a "knowledgeable" bond agent, not a newbie that's looking for an instant payday. We have all the contacts to get all the details we can.
