2022 has been a challenging year for many insurance carriers due to record claims & high inflation.
The hail & high wind storms we had earlier this year led to many folks receiving roof, siding & gutter replacements. Along with this comes both good & bad news...
Let’s talk about the good news first. Many homeowners have a brand new exterior that makes there home look great! The cost for that brand new roof/ exterior more than likely only costed the homeowner the deductible of $1,000 (most common) or $2,000 out of pocket.
Now the bad news… MASSIVE payouts by the insurance companies paired with record high inflation have led insurance rates higher 😞
I know how you all feel about the insurance companies shifting that cost to the consumer, trust me I hear it all the time and I get it! If I had a dollar for everytime I heard “just look at the huge buildings that insurance companies have, they aren’t hurting!!” I agree with you but also would you rather your insurance company operate out of something that isn’t state of the art and provide you terrible service? Just something to think about… we rely on insurance companies for when things are at it’s all time worst so personally I’d rather have a company insuring me that is financially strong and can pay claims and provide good service when we need them too.
As the industry continues to refine rates and regain profitability I am hearing from many companies that rates will rise.
The value that I can provide you as your independent agent is that I can shop your rates out to see if any other companies are a better fit.
If you are not a client, as you receive your insurance renewal offers, if you ever have questions or would like to get a second opinion please reach out! I’d be happy to take a look over your policies to see if I can provide a better solution.
As a reminder, I offer insurance for Auto, Home, Recreational vehicles/ toys, Business, Life.
I always strive to get quotes turned around as quick as I can and make the whole process as painless as possible. Let me know if I can help!
