🌪️ What to Do After a Tornado: A Homeowner's Checklist 🏠

A tornado can leave behind a lot of uncertainty, but knowing what to do next can help protect your family and make the insurance claims process smoother.

✅ 1. Make Safety Your Priority

Check for injuries and seek medical attention if needed.
Stay away from downed power lines, gas leaks, and unstable structures.
Only return home when it's safe to do so.

📸 2. Document the Damage

Take photos and videos of all damage before moving or cleaning anything.
Make a list of damaged belongings if possible.

☎️ 3. Contact Your Insurance Agent

Report your claim as soon as possible.
Your agent can guide you through the claims process and answer any questions.

💧 4. Prevent Further Damage

If it's safe, place tarps over damaged roofs or board up broken windows to prevent additional damage.

🎉 Remembering Bill Richards ❤️⛳

Today, on what would have been Bill Richards' birthday, we take a moment to remember a truly special member of the Delain Insurance Agency family.

Bill was more than an insurance agent he was a friend, a mentor, and someone who genuinely cared about the people around him. He built lasting relationships with his clients and coworkers through his kindness, sense of humor, and unmistakable laugh that could brighten anyone's day.

Outside the office, Bill loved spending time on the golf course, and those who knew him also knew how much he loved his wife, Sandy. We hope they're celebrating together once again.

Even though Bill is no longer with us, he still has a way of making us smile. Around the office, whenever we hear an unexpected noise, someone will usually laugh and say, "That's just Bill." It's one of those little traditions that reminds us just how much of a presence he had here, and still has in our hearts.

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Bill. Thank you for the laughter, the friendship, and the example you set every day. You'll always be part of the Delain family. ❤️⛳
