Weld County’s Office of Emergency Management is encouraging residents impacted by the May 28 storm in the Milliken, Johnstown, Greeley, Evans and unincorporated areas of the county near those municipalities to help us gather information for our damage assessment. This is not for insurance purposes but rather to help determine whether additional resources may be available from the state to help residents with their recovery efforts. Happy 1st of June! Summer is almost here!

Unfortunately, hail season has arrived early. If you've been hit with the recent hail, be sure to talk with your agent before filing a claim. Your agent may recommend having an inspection done first depending on the severity of the hail that hit your area.

And speaking of inspections, make sure to use a trusted, reputable local roofer for your inspection - don't allow the fly by night out of town "I've got a truck and a ladder so I'm a roofer" people that go door to door to do your inspection.
