Happy National Dog Day. 🐾

It really does feel like the dog days of summer right now, that last stretch of heat before we start eyeing sweaters and aspens. And honestly, our four legged coworkers have earned the spotlight today.

They greet us at the door, ride shotgun on every errand, and somehow know exactly when we've had a long one. Good dogs, all of them.

So show us yours. 👇 Drop a photo of your pup in the comments. Colorado trail dogs, porch nappers, backseat co pilots, we want to meet them all.

And one small thing most folks never think about: your dog is usually part of your home or renters coverage too, so if they ever have an oops moment with a neighbor or a guest, you may be more protected than you realized. A nice thing to know, not to worry about today.

Oof. Your airbag deployed. You got into a fender bender. Now what?

First: take a breath. Make sure everyone is okay, move somewhere safe if you can, and call 911 if there are injuries or an emergency.

But then comes the question everyone asks:

“Do I call my insurance or theirs?”

The answer? It depends.

If the other driver is at fault, their insurance may cover your damages. If you’re using your own coverage, your policy may help get things moving while the insurance companies sort out the details.

And this is exactly why understanding your coverage before an accident happens matters.

Do you know what your deductible is?
Do you have collision coverage?
What about uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage?

You don't want to learn the answers while standing next to a car with a deployed airbag.

👧💙 Happy Son & Daughter Day! 💙👦

The kids grow up way too fast.

One minute you’re holding their hand crossing the street, and the next they’re asking for the car keys. 😅

Today is a good reminder to slow down, make the memories, take the pictures, and appreciate the little people who make life so much bigger.

And while we’re thinking about their future, it’s also a good time to think about protecting it.

Because the things that matter most deserve a little planning. ❤️
