Bank of the West was honored to attend the 25th Anniversary Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast this morning for Lewisville, Highland Village and Flower Mound.

It was a wonderful morning filled with community, fellowship, and reflection, and we were grateful to be part of such a meaningful event with such an incredible turnout.

What a night celebrating 40 years of Bank of the West! 🤠🎉

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Austin Ranch to celebrate this incredible milestone. It was a special evening filled with great food, live music by The Logan Brothers, family, friends, and so many wonderful memories.

During the celebration, we were honored to recognize our employees celebrating milestone anniversaries of 5 years and up with the bank — especially those who have dedicated 20+ years of service. Their loyalty, leadership, and commitment have helped shape Bank of the West into what it is today, and we are incredibly grateful for the impact they continue to make.

We also had the privilege of recognizing Mike Lease as he retires from our Board of Directors. We are thankful for his leadership, service, and the impact he has made during his time with Bank of the West.

A very special thank you to Cindy and Gary Blankenship, whose vision, dedication, and love for community banking have made the last 40 years possible. Their commitment to relationships, service, and community continues to be the heart of Bank of the West.

The night was full of fun, including thousands of dollars’ worth of giveaways, a photo booth, caricatures, cookies, balloons, and plenty of celebrating! A huge thank you to the amazing vendors who helped bring the night to life:

Bank of the West was proud to participate in UTA’s Be Smart Money Week and help support financial literacy for students on campus.

It was a great evening of sharing practical financial knowledge, engaging with students, and giving back to our community. We always value opportunities like this to invest in the next generation and represent the importance of smart financial decision-making.

Thank you to UTA for having us — we’re honored to be part of such a meaningful program and look forward to future opportunities to serve.

What an incredible day yesterday at the first-ever Grapevine Business Expo!

We were honored to serve as the Presenting Sponsor of this inaugural event, and it truly exceeded expectations. From start to finish, the energy, turnout, and community support were amazing to see.

It was a great opportunity to connect with local businesses, meet new faces, and spend time with so many people who are helping drive growth and success right here in Grapevine. Events like this are a reminder of how strong and supportive our local business community really is.

A big thank you to the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce for putting together such a well-run and impactful event. We’re proud to be part of a community that continues to invest in and support its local businesses.

We also loved getting to showcase what we’re working on — including our Boots on Main initiative — and share how we’re continuing to support small businesses in a meaningful way.

Congratulations to everyone involved in making the first Grapevine Business Expo such a success. We’re already looking forward to next year!

Since 1986, this bank has been built on relationships, hard work, and a deep commitment to the communities we serve. What began as a vision has grown into something truly meaningful — not just a place to bank, but a place people rely on, trust, and feel connected to.

That foundation started with Gary and Cindy Blankenship. Their leadership, values, and long-term commitment to doing things the right way have shaped who we are today. The culture they built — one centered on people, integrity, and community — continues to guide us every single day.

We had such a great time participating in Adulting Day at the Boys & Girls Club of Vernon! 🎉

Our team brought a life-size Monopoly board to help make learning about money management fun, interactive, and real-life relevant. From budgeting basics to smart financial decisions, it was incredible to see these kids engage, ask questions, and build confidence for their futures.

At Bank of the West, we’re passionate about investing in our communities and empowering the next generation with the tools they need to succeed.

Our team had a wonderful time attending the Lewisville Education Foundation Gala on Saturday night! The event featured a fantastic restaurant showcase with so many great local flavors. We are always proud to support organizations like the Lewisville Education Foundation that invest in our schools, teachers, and students. It was a fun evening for a great cause! 🍽️✨
