Be careful of those click bait insurance scams that tell you the agent makes 80% on the policy premiums. Those are companies that sell your information to everyone so it just gives them your data.

Insurance by nature is pooled risk meaning everyone pays together so you could be the best driver in the world and get really good rates but when the neighbor wrecks we all pay for it in a round about way.

Find a good local agent to shop prices for you.

Please do not believe everything you hear online about insurance. Most of it is untrue and if you are trying to find that "really cheap" insurance and fill out a form all you are going to do is get relentless phone calls and texts...Pick a good agent in your community and go with them. They can shop the rates and give you the best scenario and value...

One thing we have been finding is if you make many towing claims on your auto policy it seems to start counting against you so we recommend finding a seperate roadside assistance option if you can (Like AAA Roadside).
