๐ก๏ธ Protect What You've Worked Hard For:
Liability insurance helps protect your finances if you're responsible for injuries or property damage to others.
Many people only purchase the state minimum limits which are $30,000/60,000/25,000. What do these numbers mean?
If you hit someone or something, those numbers are the maximum amount your insurance company will pay for the medical costs or property damage!
Example: If you hit and totaled a 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe that is valued at $75,000 and you have the State Minimum limits as shown above, your insurance company will pay out the maximum payment of $25,000. Quick math tells you that's not going to be enough to cover the Tahoe, so guess what comes next? Probably a law suit demanding you to pay the other $50,000!
This is just one of the many reasons you need to educate yourself on what coverages you carry and how they work for you!
While that satisfies legal requirements, it may not fully protect your assets if you're involved in a serious accident.
Having the right liability limits today could make a significant difference in the event of an accident.
