Hello all!

There have been a few changes around here. I gave you a sneak peak with my updated headshot, but here’s one more. I’d like to formally introduce my assistant, Amy Van Abbema. Amy has been working with me since October of 2021, and she has been a wonderful addition to our team! She has had the privilege of meeting and speaking to some of you these past few months, but she is excited to get to know each and every one of my clients as well as I do!

The IRS has postponed the deadline for individuals to make 2020 contributions to their individual retirement arrangements, health savings accounts, and more until May 17, 2021.

IR-2021-67, March 29, 2021 — The Internal Revenue Service today announced that individuals have until May 17, 2021 to meet certain deadlines that would normally fall on April 15, such as making IRA contributions and filing certain claims for refund.

Israeli scientists recently announced that they’d grown seven date trees from ancient seeds – and they may soon produce fruit. Check it out!

Researchers in Israel have grown date palm trees from ancient seeds found at the same site as the Dead Sea Scrolls. Those trees might soon produce fruit, re-creating the taste of antiquity.
