Just a good reminder.

It hit 50 degrees and suddenly it feels like summer! Windows down. Doors unlocked. Gym bags tossed in the back seat. Everyone coming out from hibernation.

And unfortunately… so are the people who like to help themselves to whatever you left inside your car.

Every year when the weather breaks, we see an uptick in thefts from vehicles. Most of them aren’t smash-and-grabs — they’re unlocked cars. A quick walk down a neighborhood street, someone checks door handles, and anything inside worth something is taken.

A few quick reminders:
• Lock your doors (even in your driveway)
• Take valuables inside — wallets, fi****ms, purses, laptops, gym bags
• Don’t leave spare keys in the vehicle
• If you have cameras, make sure they’re working
