Steve worked with us when our current lender would not. We had filled out applications for refinancing with our then current lender and waited, and waited. After numerous unanswered calls and unreturned messages to see where we were in the progress of our refinancing, I finally got in touch with our loan officer only to be told that he had not started on our request because we were such a "difficult case." He then very rudely told me that he was not the one that had gotten us into our financial problem and didn't understand what I expected him to do about it. I calmly reminded him that we had come to him for refinancing in order to better our situation by lowering our interest rate which would in turn help us immensely financially. Mind you, this was the bank that held our mortgage at the time. I asked the loan officer what he wanted us to do to work this out and he basically said he would not work with us. This had been after almost 6 months of filling out paperwork to refinance and he was telling me he just "wasn't going to work with us". When I said we would be looking elsewhere for help he informed that it would be "just fine with him". My husband was talking to his Edward Jones agent and he suggested we call Steve Ungrey. We called and explained our situation. He understood our situation and checked into different options until we found one that worked for us at the time. We were treated much more respectfully and professionally than before. Also it didn't end after signing. He has kept in contact with us to check if our needs have changed or if there was anything else he could help us with. He helped with the sale of our house last year by suggesting a great realtor to work with and was ready to help with another loan. Unfortunately he couldn't help us at the time but we will be using his services again soon. Looking forward to working with him again in the future.
