The Social Security Administration announced that Social Security benefits will increase by 2.5% in 2025.

You want auto advice, you talk to a mechanic.
You want medical advice, you talk to a doctor.
You want tax advice, talk to a CPA.
You want legal advice, talk to a lawyer.
You want Medicare/Health Insurance advice, talk to a licensed insurance agent who spends 60 hours a summer doing their certifications and learning every insurance company update; and not your next door neighbor, mom, high school friend, or free counselor or anyone else who cannot be unbiased in their presentation of Medicare supplements, prescriptions, advantage plans, Marketplace, and Group Benefits.
I’ve seen nurses and other medical office personnel give illegal and harmful insurance advice that is absurd- telling people to buy a plan they don’t medically qualify for just because it makes their life easier on claims but perhaps not their pocket.
I don’t suggest medical advice without a license, please don’t practice insurance without a license.

A few months ago I was part of a group of ladies who hosted a webinar called "The Sandwich Generation with a Side of Whys". The goal was to inform those caring for their parents about the pro-active conversations and decisions that need to be made so a difficult phase of life can go as smooth as possible. Yesterday I saw a lady who was on the call. She expressed gratitude for the webinar as she's now in the heat of it as she had to put her Dad in Hospice care recently.
