Had the opportunity once again to chat with Cory over at the Korelin Economics Report. We covered a wide range of topics from equities to rates, commodities, and currencies. Hopefully you find it worth a listen.

In this KE Report Daily Editorial, we’re joined by Jim Tassoni, CEO of Armor Wealth Strategies, for a momentum-focused look at equities, metals, energy, and cryptocurrencies. Jim outlines where trends are strengthening, where momentum is fading, and the key technical levels guiding his trades as m...

As we all get ready for hopefully some good eating and family time, I want to send a heartfelt thanks to all those that I have got to know via this platform. There are some great people on here and I have learned a lot from so many of you. I will be off-line for the rest of the week as I spend time with the people in my life who I couldn't be more grateful for (like these three!). I hope all of you have a very Happy Thanksgiving! We are all so lucky in our own ways. We just need to remember that!

I have to admit by Friday night most weeks I'm exhausted. Most of the time these days all I really want to do is plop down on the couch and doze off......however I challenge myself, and all of us to fight that feeling. This past Friday I had the opportunity to take my daughter to the Michigan State basketball game. She has never been and had been begging to go. And although my first thought was, "I'd rather just stay home and relax", the excitement in her eyes and the fun we had energized me in a way no nap could ever do! I try and remember these lessons as I approach another week where I'm sure at various points I'll feel like checking out again. Let's stay present in our lives and focus on what really gives us energy and purpose, even if sometimes it takes a little extra effort to get there!

The S&P 500 gapped up more than +1.5% yesterday, then closed down more than -1.5%. Before yesterday, this only happened in October 2008 and April 2025. While this small sample size shows the resiliency of the stock market over time, I think it is also worth noting that these previous periods were the beginning of a much more volatile time and as such investors need to be prepared to withstand the volatility through proper asset allocation or take advantage through tactical investing strategies. Whatever your preference, I think we may be in for a bumpy end to the year.

As of the market close yesterday, this is the 9th worst first 12 trading days of November on record. Yet even in the 20 weakest starts, the market has often bounced back to finish the year strong. I always find these type studies interesting, but I think it speaks more to the upward pull of the markets over most time periods more than anything else.

The S&P 500 finally closed below its 50-day moving average, after 138 days! Here's what the index did next after such long rallies ended. Bottom line, odds are in your favor to ignore wiggles in the market, build a robust and diversified portfolio, maybe make tilts depending on the macro environment, but ultimately stay invested.

Another reason why I love that my daughters are involved in sports is the character that it builds. Friday night our softball team spent the evening volunteering at Taste of Heaven in Kalamazoo where we made popcorn and packed boxes with all proceeds going towards the funding of the organization's mission to develop programs to bring the youth in the community closer to Jesus's teachings. There was not a sinlge complaint from these girls as they busted their tails filling orders! Sure beats a Friday night sitting on their ipads!

December's FOMC meeting is down to a coin flip. The market-implied probability of a 25bps cut was 95% a month ago. I still believe the Fed will cut another quarter point next month, but the uncertainty is definitely waying on markets in the short-term and this is something we will continue to monitor as we head through the next few weeks.

Data from Koyfin showing Healthcare’s 3-month returns suggest the recent rally is extended (+17%, +2Std above mean) but rolling YoY returns imply plenty of upside for the sector over the next 12 months (+5.6%, below mean). We have been talking about our position in healthcare and various healthcare names since mid-September and continue to believe that the setup is favorable for the sector over the medium term.
