Its that time of the year for some us.
Here is a tip before you start. Do this on a weekend when your spouse is out of town with friends or family or family.
Did you remember to save all your receipts for your fishing tackle? No? What if the worse happens. You have your boat parked at a restaurant, hotel or garage and someone decides to help themselves to your prized fishing tackle. How do you prove that you have purchased all that tackle to the insurance? Will you be able to remember everything, that random stop on the way to Lake Erie or Missouri river to buy a batch of hot crank baits. It is a great idea to inventory your tackle by taking photos of rods and reels, take your tackle totes out count up the amount of crankbaits write the number on piece of paper and place it on tackle box and snap a picture. Don't forget life jackets, electronics, rods reels place these pictures on a flash drive for safekeeping and keep this locked away in a safe place. And do you have enough coverage to cover your tackle? Ask your present insurance company if they cover tackle. If they don't get ahold Bob Luellen and his staff they will help you out.
