Something interesting happened during a policy review recently.

A homeowner I spoke with assumed their policy would fully rebuild their house if something ever happened.

But when we looked closer, the replacement cost hadn’t been updated in years and it was much lower than current construction costs.

That’s actually something I see more often than people realize.

Insurance policies don’t always automatically keep up with real-world rebuild prices.

Check behind your car before you get in to make sure there are no children, animals, or objects. Backup cameras and mirrors can still leave blindspots, and it’s all too easy to backover someone or something.

Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market to sell appropriate products and services.
Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.

Requirements

Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) is highly preferred
Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening
Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risk of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams
Self-motivated
Detailed oriented
Pride in getting work done accurately and timely
Ability to make presentations to potential customers
Provide timely and thorough activity reports to head agent
Ability to execute a detailed business plan
Property and Casualty Insurance license (this is a must!)
Life and Health Insurance license (highly preferred)
