🏠🔑Closing day is a BIG DAY and I am here to share a few tips to help get you prepared:

✅ Identification: Bring a valid driver’s license or State issued identification with you to the closing.
✅ Sign Your Closing Disclosure (CD): Your Closing Disclosure with your final numbers will be sent to you at least three days before closing.
✅ Cash to Close: If you are required to bring money to the closing, the money must be in the form of “good funds.” This means you will need to bring a cashier’s check or wire the funds to the title company.
✅ Everyone Present: Unless you have arranged for a Power of Attorney, all parties will need to be present at the time of closing to sign the documents.
✅ Utilities: If you are purchasing a property, you’ll need to call the utility companies prior to closing to let them know you will be the new owner of the home in order to transfer service. Your water and sewer will automatically be transferred by the title company.
