We had the best day yesterday with our all staff meeting and celebrating CUKind Day! We were able to bring tons of needed items to Harbor Humane. We really focused on how we live our mission everyday and how the trust and relationships start here in this building with these people. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch from Melli's Deli. Thank you to all our members who allow us to live out our mission!

Strong communities start with strong connections! We’re proud to see our Kendra Gardner reconnecting with her Leadership Connect teammates and exploring ways to keep making a difference in Northwest Ottawa County. Investing in our community—and the people who help it thrive!

The work of the Chamber can look like a lot of things including emails, name tags, tracking sponsorships, promoting member businesses, and planning the next event.

Sometimes, it looks like lunch with members of your 2025–2026 Leadership Connect cohort.

Leadership Connect alumni recently gathered to catch up, reconnect, and talk about how they can continue contributing to the community we all call home here in Northwest Ottawa County.

Because the work of the Chamber isn’t just about the programs and events themselves. It’s about the connections and relationships built through them and the impact those relationships can have long after a program ends.

The relationships made through Leadership Connect can and do endure for years, creating ripple effects throughout our organizations, our business community, and Northwest Ottawa County.

Thank you to our Leadership Connect alumni for continuing to connect, grow, support one another, and serve our community.

Our Executive Vice President Stephanie Cwiklinski, along with all the nominees for this years ATHENA on the Lakeshore Leadership Award and ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award Finalists were celebrated this week!

The Chamber - Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg held a luncheon to celebrate all of the finalists for the award and those who nominated them.

The winner will be announced at the ATHENA on the Lakeshore Awards Luncheon on October 6.

Good luck to Stephanie and all of the nominees!

Congratulations to our Kendra Gardner on becoming a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor!

With her new certification, Kendra can work one-on-one with members facing financial challenges, support those who want to improve their credit scores, and guide anyone with little or no credit history in building and maintaining good credit.

These services are yet another way TCCU can assist in our members to "keep their money close to home!"
