Today I had the honor of presenting a $1,000 donation to The TEARS Foundation on behalf of Nodak Insurance through our Community Giving Program.

I’m pictured here with Sandy, the founder of TEARS of North Dakota. The work Sandy and her organization do to support families during some of the most difficult moments imaginable is truly meaningful, and I’m grateful we have the opportunity to help support their mission.

One of the best parts of being a local insurance agency is being able to give back to the people and organizations making a difference right here in our communities.

It’s hard to believe another school year is already here!

As students head back to the classroom, we want to wish all of our Thompson Tommies a great year of learning, growth, friendships, and plenty of Tommie pride.

And a quick reminder for everyone on the road: slow down, stay alert, watch for kids walking and biking, and always stop for school buses. A few extra seconds can make a big difference.

Our offices will be closed Friday and Monday as we celebrate the 4th of July holiday with our families and friends.

We hope everyone has a safe, fun, and relaxing Independence Day weekend! Thank you to all who have served and continue to serve our country—we're grateful for your sacrifice and dedication.

We'll reopen with normal business hours on Tuesday. If you have an emergency claim while we're away, please contact your insurance carrier's 24-hour claims service.

80 years ago, something special kicked off right here in North Dakota!

On April 16, 1946, Nodak Insurance Company (originally Nodak Mutual Insurance Company) was born in Fargo, thanks to the North Dakota Farm Bureau and a mission: to help farmers and ranchers with protection they could count on.

It all started with just $500 from 100 members.

What a humble beginning—with a purpose that still guides us today!
