Elite is looking to grow our family! 😍 We have some exciting new Loan Officers joining our team and we will need some additional hands to support them!

There is currently an opening for a position as a Loan Officer Assistant:

- Must have at least 2 years experience in the business to understand the nature of our business, mortgages and how to do them
- Excellent phone skills are a must
- Encompass familiarity is a plus
- Licensed as a loan officer is plus
- Underwriting experience or processor experience would be wonderful
- This is a 9AM to 5PM position, but work doesn't always stop at 5PM - You must be okay with this
- Light marketing and social media presence will be needed for this position as well
- Will need references - the more the better
- You will have to pass our in house mortgage test to be considered

The deets on what happened yesterday:

Inflation is being stubborn. 😠 💰

Yesterday, the Labor Department reported that consumer prices rose 3.5% in March compared to a year ago. That’s also slightly higher from 3.2% in February. 📊

The two main culprits for the larger-than-expected jump:
Rising housing costs and gas prices. 🏠 ⛽️

The inflation reading sent stocks tumbling, with the Dow closing 422 points lower yesterday. It’s the third month in a row that consumer prices have been higher than expected, raising concerns that progress in the fight against inflation could be stalling. 📈

What does this mean? 🤔

The Federal Reserve might have to keep interest rates at a 23-year high for longer. 🙅‍♀️

Experts say the Fed will likely hold off on making an interest rate cut this summer, with others saying there might not be a cut at all this year. 🔪
That will most likely impact your wallet, 👛 since higher interest rates means higher borrowing costs on things like credit cards, mortgages and car loans. 🚗 💰

Experts say although progress has stalled, it doesn’t appear that there’s a renewed surge in inflation — it might just take longer to get it back on track as yesterday we saw one of the worst days in the bond market landing us 107 basis points high. 📈
