Hello all! As we are now seeing that the self quarantine precautions have been extended until April 30, our focus at Patriot Retirement Group remains the same:

To take care of our senior market.

With that being said, we will not be going and visiting our clients until given the green light.

If you are one of our current clients and need something other than insurance, please know we are here to serve you in any way possible. Whether that be with food, water, or even toilet paper, we will do our best to get you the needed items. Do not hesitate to reach out.

Hello everyone! Medicare Annual Enrollment Period ends on December 7. With that date coming up quickly, we at Patriot Retirement Group would like to offer a unique opportunity.

Throughout this open enrollment season, we have been hyper focused on our local senior market, and now would love to answer any questions YOU might have over anything Medicare before open enrollment ends.

If you have questions about signing up for part A and B, if you have the right type of Advantage Plan, if you have the least expensive supplement, or any questions about prescription drugs, please ask away.

On Monday, December 2, we will be opening up our calendar and be available ALL day for a 15 minute phone consultation. All we ask is you have your questions written down and your Medicare card available.

Patriot Retirement Group was contacted two months ago from a successful registered investment advisory firm in Dallas and offered an incredible opportunity to educate seniors in a seminar setting on Medicare, should we be picked. As normally we sit with couples one on one, the opportunity for a seminar would mean expanding our reach exponentially.

Out of 100’s of other independent brokerages who were interviewed, PRG was picked.

After hours of preparation, studying, and practicing, we were honored to have a FULL HOUSE this morning of eager and ready to learn seniors! We educate the basics of Medicare, how to enroll, which plan to pick, and even when to begin your Medicare.

What is Part A and B of Medicare? What does it cover? Do I really need to sign up for Part B? What happens if I don't?

Part A covers your inpatient hospital stays, along with any skilled nursing stays. Now, with this being said, there are certain limitations. Hospital stays cannot exceed more than 150 days, and after that, you are 100% responsible for the rest. Skilled nursing stays cannot exceed more than 20 days. After that, you are on the line for nearly $200/day.

Part B covers your outpatient and doctor visits. You are charged a monthly premium to receive this coverage. Medicare covers your entire Part B, up to 80%. It is up to you to cover the additional 20%.

You are automatically enrolled into Part A of Medicare 3 months before your 65th birthday. There is not a premium for this coverage, and you are able to continue with any other insurance you may have.

It is especially important to know WHEN to sign up for Part B. Any sort of delays can cost you in a late enrollment period. This does not mean you HAVE to sign up for Part B right when you turn 65. There are several situations when you would not do so.
