Our office will be open tomorrow; however, we'll take a moment to celebrate the freedom that came to the U.S. ending slavery. We will take a moment of silence in somber of the lives impacted and loss, we will educate those around us and support the local Black owned businesses in our community and surroundings.

Why do we celebrate June 19th, also known as Juneteenth?

This is a federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. It specifically marks the day in 1865 when Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, to enforce the Emancipation Proclamation, bringing freedom to enslaved African Americans two and a half years after it was initially issued.

Interesting and again another cyber event. These occur every 39 seconds.

In this scenario a business (Perry & Perry) made a payment to the wrong party that looked to be (Alamo Steel). Alamo's email had been taken over by fraudsters.

Perry & Perry made a very large payment to the wrong party, unbeknownst to them. Perry & Perry filed a cyber claim and did have coverage, just not as much as the loss. Details inside but the importance of cyber coverage is something to be reminded of.

A U.S. District Court analyzed the insurance policy to determine the intended coverage.
