Ohio out here keeping a scoreboard against sharks like it’s a lifelong rivalry… except sharks never even got the invite. 😭
Millions of days undefeated, and honestly?
Ohio’s not losing that streak anytime soon.
Lake Erie is doing its thing,
the ocean is far away minding its business,
and Ohio’s just standing there like:
“yeah… we’re good.”
This is peak Midwest energy. 🐟🌊
Other places flex beaches and saltwater…
Ohio is like:
“we’ve got a Great Lake… and zero shark drama.” 💀
Waves rolling in.
Seagulls acting aggressive for no reason.
And the only thing touching your leg?
Probably seaweed… and immediate panic anyway. 😭
And you just KNOW someone’s tracking it—
standing by the water, hoodie on,
staring out like:
“yep… still no sharks.” ☕👀
At this point, it’s not even a streak…
it’s a personality trait.
Meanwhile:
• coastal states checking shark alerts 🦈
• Ohio checking if Lake Erie is calm enough today 🌊
• one guy steps in, hits that cold water, and immediately rethinks everything 💀
Because here…
the real danger isn’t sharks—
it’s cold water, random waves,
and something brushing your leg that you will NEVER identify. 😭
Welcome to Ohio—
where the water looks peaceful…
the views hit different…
and absolutely NOTHING in there is hunting you…
…but you’re still getting out just in case. 😭

Our Weights and Measures team worked with USDA to ensure the accuracy of this hopper scale at Centerra's Grafton Grain operation. It is the oldest grain elevator in Ohio and a vital part of our local economy.
