With warmer weather finally making its return, we know more ORVs and golf carts will soon be out on Goshen streets.

To help keep everyone safe and informed, we’ve put together a quick reference guide highlighting where ORVs and golf carts are permitted, equipment requirements, and important driver rules under Goshen ordinances.

Before you head out for a ride, take a few minutes to review the guidelines below. A little refresher now can help avoid confusion and keep everyone enjoying the season safely.

Please remember:

• Golf carts are only permitted on city streets with speed limits of 30 MPH or less
• ORVs and golf carts are prohibited on sidewalks, bike paths, and trails
• Drivers must have a valid, non-suspended driver’s license and be at least 16
• Both vehicles must meet equipment and insurance requirements
