All of us at Kim Squiers State Farm are so incredibly proud of you— you did it and now you are on your way to whatever is next! You’re invited to participate in our first annual scholarship essay contest. We are going to be giving away three $250 scholarships to a graduating senior. Two of the scholarships will be awarded to a graduate of Northridge High School, the community in which we are located. The other scholarship of $250 will be awarded to a graduate in Elkhart, Kosciusko, or St.Joe County (MI or IN). You do NOT need to be a client of our office to enter.
To enter you must do the following:
show proof that you are on track to graduate by the end of this school year (this could be a transcript, email proof from a counselor, teacher, or principal)
show proof that you are going to be pursuing some type of higher education (trade school – Insurance, Cosmetology, College, etc.)
your own essay (typed)
The essay prompt is the following: in 500 words or less sharing one lesson you have learned from the COVID-19 pandemic and how you will use this lesson in your future.
Please email your essay and your two documents (proof of academic good standing and proof of higher education) to [email protected] no later than June 20th. The three recipients will be selected on June 25th and contacted via email.
We know that your senior year did not go how you expected; however, we want to let you know we are here cheering you on and are super proud of you!
