Muffley Insurance Agency Muffley Realty & insurance is family owned business since 1918. The partners added the sale of Insurance at a later date. J. Curtis.

The firm started in 1918 when Julius Schmitt and two other partners began selling real estate in the Gooding County area. Julius and his partner, Earl Whipkey, bought out the other partner in the 1930s and named the agency Schmitt & Whipkey. Earl Whipkey retired in 1956, and Julius' son in law, Jim Muffley, came into the business at that time, changing the name to Schmitt and Muffley. Jim took ove

r the business in 1970, upon the retirement of Julius and changed the name to Muffley Realty & Insurance. Bob Muffley, Jim's son, joined the firm in 1973 and managed a branch office in Wendell. Then in 1977 upon Jim's retirement, Bob, bought the agency and moved all business operations to the Gooding office. Bob remained the owner, until 2015 when he decided to retire and sold the business to

CMS has released new premiums and Deductibles:

The standard monthly premium for Medicare Part B enrollees will be $185.00 for 2025, an increase of $10.30 from $174.70 in 2024. The annual deductible for all Medicare Part B beneficiaries will be $257 in 2025, an increase of $17 from the annual deductible of $240 in 2024.
