Fall has arrived and so has mating season. This time of year, the chances of a run-in between a deer & a vehicle increases. Most animal collisions occur from October - December.

Deer tend to travel in packs so if you spot one, it’s likely that there are more nearby. While any time of day can be active for deer travel, most deer-related accidents occur between 6 - 9 p.m.

To avoid a deer-vehicle collision:
🚨 Drive the speed limit
🌒 Watch for deer between dusk & dawn
💡 Use headlights
👀 Watch for animal eyes
🚘 Maintain control of your vehicle when you see a deer
✔️ Always wear your seat belt
