In Colorado with today's rates a 52 year old male can pay $49.00/month for a THIRTY year term LIFE policy with 100K in coverage.

$215 annual for a 20 year old to get 500K in life insurance set for 20 years (with today's rates), $110 annual for 250K 20 year.
*Younger kids at about $250 annual for a policy at that same rate for their whole life.

**Drunk driving: In 2022, 13,524 fatalities occurred in motor vehicle accidents in which at least one driver was impaired by alcohol. This means intoxicated drivers were involved in at least 32% of all traffic fatalities that year.¹
("it's just back roads, I'll be fine"... "it's only 5 minutes on the highway"...)

Water losses: Over time ONE in SIXTY insured homes had a property damage claim caused by water damage or freezing each year. Water claims are the most 'popular' claims and do a lot of damage.
--water/sewer backup
--hidden seepage/leakage
--service line protection outside the home
--adequate dwelling replacement cost
--adding a flood policy or flood endorsement to your homeowners
*these value adds of coverage will give you better protection

A water flow sensor for a one time 200 dollars may prevent thousands in damage as well.

Insurance fraud is not a victimless crime. The payment of fraudulent claims and the costs associated with fighting them causes everyone’s insurance premiums to be higher.
