I grew up near River Falls and graduated from RFHS. I earned my Bachelor’s in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Accounting from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. I began my career working in Minneapolis for a small chain of Pharmacies as an Assistant Manager. After a few years, I took a job as a bookkeeper at a grocery store in Hudson, Wisconsin. I worked my way up in that company to corporate position, Store Auditor, then Store Accounting Advisor. By then, I had met and married my husband, Kevin, and we had three young sons. In order to spend more time with them, I took a job in the town where we were living, Baldwin. I left the corporate world and became the bookkeeper at the Village Pharmacy in Baldwin. While there, I earned my Masters Degree in Business from Cardinal Stritch University. That position has evolved over the years into Store Manager and now Operations Manager for three stores. In 2025, I decided to expand my knowledge base once more and became licensed in health, accident, and life insurance sales. I had already been advising people on Medicare plans for the previous 19 years, I may as well know a little more about what I was talking about. My work at the Village Pharmacy and my work with insurance work hand in hand. I am actually affiliated with a group called Pharmacy Insurance Group. A group of pharmacies with agencies affiliated with them. I can help with group policies for employers, individuals on the marketplace, people just starting the Medicare maze or someone just looking for a life policy. I’m not out to make a buck - I have day job, too. 😊 I’m in this to help people.
