Members of the Arrow Team came together to participate in the Aloha 5K and 1 Mile Fun Walk benefiting Amanda's House at Glens Falls Hospital. Amanda's House provides a "home away from home" for patients and their families who must travel for medical treatment. They are able to continue to give back to our community thanks to the ongoing support of their sponsors, volunteers, and supporters, and we were proud to serve as a Maui Sponsor for this year's event.

Thanks to the formation of the Arrow Bank Corporation holding company, we were able to open Saratoga National Bank and Trust Company in Saratoga Springs on July 1, 1988.

Today’s post celebrating our 175-year history touches on our initial public offering and the formation of our holding company in the 1980s.

Glens Falls National Bank went public on NASDAQ in 1981 with ticker symbol GFAL. In 1983, holding company Arrow Bank Corporation (now called Arrow Financial Corporation) was formed and trading began as AROW, which remains our ticker symbol today.
