🎉 Happy 50th Birthday, Cesar! 🎉

Today we celebrate YOU, my husband, my life partner, my favorite pain in the ass 😂 and the man who has spent half his life by my side.

25 years ago, we met. And from that moment on, we’ve been building something real. I was already a mother, and you didn’t hesitate. You stepped in, not just for me, but with me. From school drop-offs to building a blended family to intentionally planning for our son Steven, you’ve shown up with love, presence, and heart 💛

Being married hasn’t always been easy. We’ve had seasons where we were thriving and others where we were holding on by a thread. But through every shift, every challenge, every milestone, we kept choosing each other. We kept growing. 🌱🌻

Turning 50 is no small thing 🎂 It’s a milestone that deserves to be celebrated for the gift that it is. Not everyone gets to grow older, and doing so with grace, love, and laughter is something to be proud of 🙏🏽

Cesar, you’ve earned every wrinkle, every laugh line, and every bit of wisdom these 50 years have brought you. You continue to grow into a man who is more patient, more grounded, more intentional. And let’s not forget your sense of humor. The kind that lights up a room, diffuses tension, or raises it 😆 while reminding us not to take life too seriously 😄 It’s one of your greatest gifts, and it has carried us through so much.

I didn’t plan ahead because I expected to leave soon.
I planned because I love you too much not to.

I didn’t want you scrambling through paperwork or wondering what I would’ve wanted.
I didn’t want the weight of decisions to fall on your shoulders in a time of grief.

So I took the time to create a plan—with love in every detail.

From the moment I laid down, Roslynn guided me to breathe—deeply and intentionally—to help me prepare for the experience. But there was this one moment that truly stood out: after several deep breaths, on my final exhale, she gently placed her hands on my chest to help release the breath fully. That simple yet powerful touch allowed my body to let go of tension I didn't even realize I was carrying. It was like something in me finally softened—an incredible, unexpected release.

What followed was pure magic. I felt calm, grounded, and completely ready to receive the beautiful facial she had in store. Her hands? I don’t even know how to describe them—soft, soothing, almost like they hold some kind of healing power. At one point, she gently pulled my hair, and again, tension just melted away. It made me realize how much stress we carry without noticing.
