We had a great time at our Coastal Social! 🌴🍹

On August 27, we gathered with clients and friends at Crooked Hammock Brewery in Lewes for an afternoon of great conversations, delicious food, and plenty of laughs.

The event was also a special opportunity to officially introduce Parker Wine, our new advisor in the Lewes office! We’re excited to have Parker as part of the Dan White & Associates team and look forward to the relationships he’ll continue building with clients throughout the coastal Delaware community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon such a great success. We love having opportunities to get together outside the office and spend time with the people we’re proud to serve!

Earnings season is here again, with banks first reporting blowout earnings. The outperformance was driven by investment banking, specifically fees related to the SpaceX initial public offering.

JP Morgan Chase had a record quarterly profit – $21 billion. Goldman Sachs, a major backer of the SpaceX IPO, saw equity underwriting revenue jump 130%. Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Citigroup, and Wells Fargo all beat consensus earnings estimates too.

2026 DWA Night at the Blue Rocks! ⚾️ 🧢

The forecast was threatening for a while, but the rain held out and we had beautiful weather for our annual DWA Night at the Blue Rocks!

It was a great night spent with our clients, friends, family, and the DWA team at the ballpark. From the first pitch to the final out, we enjoyed plenty of baseball, great conversations, and, of course, some classic ballpark food! 🌭🍿

We’re so grateful to everyone who came out and made the evening so much fun. Events like this are one of our favorite ways to step away from the office and simply enjoy time together with the people who make DWA such a special community.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us; we hope you had as much fun as we did!

"COBRA"

The Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act is a federal law requiring employers with more than 20 employees to offer terminated or retired employees the opportunity to continue their health insurance coverage for 18 months at the employee’s expense. Coverage may be extended to the employee’s dependents for 36 months in the case of divorce or death of the employee.
