The Social Security Administration (SSA) reports that the average monthly benefit is around $1,703.98, as of July 2023. NY is spending $387 per day X30= $11,610 per month on migrants in NY city. What is the cost in other cities? We don't know and probably won't know. Shame on Washington for prioritizing migrants over seniors who have worked all there life in US but continue to struggle.

Currently, New York City is forking out an average of $387 per day to put up a single adult migrant in one its taxpayer-funded shelters, the latest data from City Hall show.
