Oregon is a beautiful place to live. One of the reasons being our large native trees. However when a storm rages its ugly head like the one last night, those trees can also cause a lot of damage. One of the most often asked questions from people is whose insurance gets the claim if a neighbors tree falls on my house or vice versa? Trees falling are an act of God, we cannot get rid of every tree just because it’s big and scary. If a tree falls on your house, it goes on your policy no matter whose property the tree resides on. And we just hope and pray that the house is the only victim if this happens. This picture is from an acquaintance of mine, he wouldn’t even be here today if his neighbor hadn’t come and banged on his door at 1 am to let him know the tree was leaning and making some awful sounds.

Expectations have been exceeded for the second time this week! A couple months ago I met with District 33 - Farmers Insurance Group to talk about what we as local Farmers Agents could do for our communities at a time of year where a lot of folks need some help. We worked with two organizations Fill a Stocking, Fill a Heart and Hannah Grace Family to provide items like food, games, blankets, and basic items of necessity. Thank you so much to Moss Insurance Agency, Karen Inzunza Insurance Agency, Bob Dillard, and Nick Chianello for helping me! I feel like Santa today getting to drop off all these wonderful items! Happy Friday! Cheers! 🥂

Can you believe it’s already December? Nope, us either. Hopefully it’s not too late for you to help us support Fill a Stocking, Fill a Heart again for the third year in a row! We have chosen a male between the ages of 15-20 for our stocking this year and will be accepting donations through December 12th! Ideas include but are not limited to store gift cards, movie tickets, card games, adult coloring or activity books, gloves, hats, socks and chapstick. Feel free to stop by our office at 310 Portland Ave in Gladstone to drop off donations if you feel so inclined. Tis the season to count our blessings and share to those in need. Cheers! 🥂
