I’m on the other side of the world currently, but obsessing over the radar and weather updates.

I do have access to the messages for my office for a few more hours. My team is also on standby.

Please stay safe.

Today is the day to be prepared! 🌪️

My team will be in office 8:30-12:30. They’ll be available from home after that. I want to make sure they are safe as well.

Remember, most things with motors should have their own insurance policy if you want it covered should something happen. —- campers, golf carts, atvs, 4-wheelers, boats —- Also things like collections, jewelry and fi****ms should have separate policies if over certain dollar amounts.

1. Prepare the safest spot in your house now or find somewhere else with a safe spot.

2. I know I let everyone know in their annual reviews to take photos or videos of your personal property. If you haven’t done that, spend 5-10 minutes today doing that. Open your closets and drawers, etc. Should a loss occur, you’ll need to create an inventory of your personal property. Videos help you remember what you have.

3. Make sure your important documents like birth certificates and social security cards are stored somewhere safely.

4. Prepare outside: park vehicles inside if you can, move all outdoor furniture and items like grills inside, or at least secure them.

5. If you have a loss, please remember, it isn’t a race to file a claim. You have time to assess your damage and collect your thoughts. When safe to do so, take as many photos as you can. After photos have been taken, you can start cleaning up, if safe to do so, to prevent further loss to your property.

If we aren’t available by phone, please text our office:
815-265-4505. We will get back to you when it’s safe to do so.

Praying everyone stays safe today.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by last nights storms. Please stay safe, avoid damaged areas and downed power lines, and check on your family, friends, and neighbors.

If you have damage and need assistance, don't hesitate to reach out.

A few items to note, if you have damage.

1. It’s your responsibility to avoid further damage. You can tarp roofs, etc.

2. Take lots of photos.

3. We suggest confirming your wind/hail deductible prior to filing a claim. Have contractors you know and trust give you an estimate to fix any damage prior to filing the claim.

Can you guess what it is?

- I paid $700 today for these - granted I bought 1000 of them. The least exciting $700 purchase I’ve made.

- Every business uses them and households too.

- The price is changing on them in July

Persistence pays off! After months of studying, determination and hard work, Natalie has officially passed her Life Insurance Licensing Exam!

Her journey is a great reminder that success isn't always about how quickly you get there - it's about refusing to give up.

Life insurance is one of the most important ways you can protect the people you love. Whether it's helping your family cover everyday expenses, pay off debts, fund a child's education, or maintain financial stability during a difficult time, having the right life insurance coverage can provide help when it matters most.

If you've been putting off reviewing your coverage or wondering what options are available for you and your family, give Natalie a call! She'd love the opportunity to help you find a plan that fits your goals and budget.

Join us in congratulating her on this well-earned achievement!
