A safe school day starts before students leave home.
Whether your child walks, bikes, rides the bus, gets dropped off, or drives themselves, a quick safety reminder can make a meaningful difference:
• Walk on sidewalks when available, use crosswalks, and look for drivers before crossing.
• Bike with a properly fitted helmet, follow traffic rules, and choose routes with fewer busy intersections.
• Wait well back from the curb for the bus, and never cross near it without the driver’s signal.
• In school zones, slow down, follow the drop-off process, and never pass a stopped school bus.
• For teen drivers, reinforce seatbelt use, distraction-free driving, and posted speed limits.
At Valley Insurance Group, we are proud to help Gilbert-area families protect what matters most. Please share these reminders with a parent, student, or teen driver in your life.
