It is probably because it did! If you haven’t called or explored your bills, it is about time to do so! I personally saved $20 month on our phone bill simply by looking online and found they now offered a cheaper version of my plan I already had! Don’t get caught in that trap. Now is a great time to look at changing/looking into cheaper insurance plans too!

I think sometimes we downplay the good old fashion garage sale! One thing is for sure…. Stuff doesn’t make you money, and some of us have a ton of it! There are so many ways to make some extra money selling stuff you don’t need. There are online platforms that can help too! Now before you say “what does an extra $100-$200 do for me?” Let me tell you that an extra $200 could very well finish paying off that debt a month early, or even help you reach that final savings goal! Don’t underestimate selling your stuff! You probably don’t need it anyway!

Wait… it’s time to plan for Christmas? 🎄 🤔 it can be! Don’t let the holiday rush and window shopping suck your hard earned money away! The holidays are NOT an emergency. Plan how much you want to spend and start thinking about gifts soon, that way it won’t create confusion and make your pockets empty on Christmas Eve. 😉 You can start saving for those gifts or trips now. It’s what some call a “sinking fund”. Saving for a specific event that can be a major expense. The holidays will be here before we know it!

Need I say more? Debt truly can tear you apart. First step to destroying it is knowing what debts you have. List them all out. This includes everything but the house.
