Last year this client was relocating from North Carolina and was referred to me by one of my amazing partners.

When Karen came to me she was very nervous about everything as she was moving across the country leaving her family behind.

This past week VA has been a huge topic for our team.

We have been on the phone with realtors and even some of our lender partners who didn’t know a seller contribution is separate from a seller concession on VA loans.

Why is this important? 🤔 On VA you are capped at 4% seller concessions on the items above deemed by the VA. to be considered a concessions.

In addition to that we can ask for “seller contributions” to cover a Veteran’s closing costs and additional rate buy-downs.

This is one of the most under utilized loan option used simply because there is not enough education on it. Let’s get in front of this and help our Veterans.
