Integrity | Passion | Strength

I lead with positive determination for the empowerment, strength, and growth of Loan Originators and Loan Origination Teams by creating a collaborative atmosphere and brand through a true passion for excellence. My first 14 years in lending began as a Loan Originator. I was a self-starter, consuming knowledge with diligence, providing quality financing options with care and consistency, and growing my business with integrity to that of a top producer and regular member of the elite Chairmanโ€™s Club. In the years that followed from 2007 to 2015, with my understanding of the tools, inspiration, and stable environment needed to be successful, my then assistant and now Operations Manager, Nichole Rimer and I, opened, operated and recruited support staff and Loan Originators, filling multiple branches throughout Washington as well as Arizona. After multiple decades of personally serving homeowners through loan origination, recruiting and leading teams of dedicated producers and staff, several of which are still with me today. With careful consideration of quality lending products and the right fit of company ethics, support and morale, Iโ€™ve created a platform, giving Loan Originators the environment for structured achievement, confident success, and the flexibility for creativity and fun. Speaking of fun! When Iโ€™m not working alongside and guiding a well-executed team of loan originators, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Boating, skiing, and all waters sports are a great passion of mine, but by far my heart lies in spending time with my daughter and my wife.

๐Ÿ“ฆ There are two kinds of people...

The ones who unpack every box the first weekend.

And the ones who still have a mystery box in the garage three years later. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Not everyone at Bryte is a loan officer. ๐Ÿ‘‹

There is an entire team working behind the scenes to help get each loan from application to closing, and our Operations Manager is a huge part of that.

There are documents to review, deadlines to track, questions to answer, problems to solve, and about a hundred little details that most homebuyers will never see.

And that's exactly how it should be.

A great mortgage experience isn't just about finding the right loan. It's also about having the right people behind it making sure everything keeps moving.

We're pretty lucky to have some really great people behind Bryte Home Loans.

๐Ÿก Mortgage Minute: What is DTI?

Three letters that can play a pretty big role when you're buying a home.

DTI stands for debt to income ratio, and it compares your monthly debt obligations with your gross monthly income.

Why does it matter? Because lenders look at DTI as one part of determining what you may qualify for.

That's why two people earning the same amount of money may have very different homebuying budgets.

You don't need to calculate everything yourself. A loan officer can look at your full financial picture and help you understand what the numbers mean for you.

Mortgage terminology doesn't have to feel like another language. We're breaking it down one at a time.

Your home goals are personal. Your financing should be too. ๐Ÿก

There is no single mortgage that works for every buyer. Your income, credit, down payment, future plans, and the type of property you're purchasing can all play a role in finding the loan that makes sense for you.

From conventional and FHA loans to VA financing and other home loan options, our team can help you understand what's available and find a path that fits your situation.

Not sure where to start? That's okay. Start with a conversation.

โ˜€๏ธ Summer is winding down, but is now a good time to buy a home?

The answer isn't the same for everyone.

Instead of trying to find the "perfect" time to buy, start by looking at what makes sense for YOU.

๐Ÿก Are you financially ready?
๐Ÿก Do you know what monthly payment feels comfortable?
๐Ÿก Have you explored your loan options?
๐Ÿก Are you planning to stay in the home for a while?
๐Ÿก Have you been waiting for the right home to come along?

The calendar doesn't determine when you're ready for homeownership. Your finances, goals, and life do.

If buying a home has been on your mind this summer, let's talk about where you stand and what your options look like.

๐Ÿก Mortgage Minute: What is escrow?

If you've started looking into buying a home, you've probably heard the word "escrow" thrown around a few times.

In simple terms, an escrow account can be used to collect money for expenses like property taxes and homeowners insurance as part of your monthly mortgage payment. When those bills come due, they're paid from the funds in the account.

It's one of those mortgage terms that sounds much more complicated than it actually is!

We're breaking down mortgage terminology one Mortgage Minute at a time. What should we explain next?
