Hi! 🇺🇸 I just wanted to share a great reminder. Starting May 1, 2026, VA loans are getting easier to work with and that means fewer delays and smoother closings 🙌

Here’s what’s changing:

• Peeling paint on homes built after 1978 is now considered cosmetic (no more automatic repair requirement)
• Detached structures like sheds/garages won’t hold up the appraisal anymore
• Radon testing + some extra certifications are no longer required

👉 Translation: fewer last-minute repair headaches and less chance of deals falling apart over small stuff

Sellers = less stress
Buyers = smoother path to closing
