🎽🦬Our Cory Harris State Farm Good Neighbor Athletes of the Week for Cross Country are Alondra Garcia and Gabe Aguilar!

🎽🏃‍♀️‍➡️Sophomore Alondra Garcia finished 2nd overall in the junior varsity at the Pro-Fit Invitational in Temple. She led her team to their second team victory in back-to-back weeks. She will move up and run at the varsity level for her first time in high school next weekend.

🎽🏃‍♂️Senior Gabe Aguilar was the third finisher for GHS at the Pro-Fit Invitational. He ran a lifetime best of 18:21 for 5,000 meters to help the Buffaloes place second overall in the team standings.

🏈🦬🏆SAMMY HERNANDEZ is our Cory Harris State Farm Player of the Week!

Sammy led the Buffaloes to 49-7 dominating win over Rockdale to open the season.

Sammy Had 8 carries for 39 yards and 2 TD's on offense while being one of the leading blockers. On defense he had 8 tackles

Coach Hobbs said "Sammy is our Team Captain and never takes a rep off and is always motivation and encouraging his teammates"
