"You can’t calm the storm… so stop trying. What you can do is calm yourself. The storm will pass." - Timber Hawkeye

An appropriate quote for life here at Colthill. This past week we weaned our little princess. As a true royal, she was initially not pleased with having her world disrupted, but once she realized that she would not have to share our attention with her dam, she settled in well.

Just because things might seem like they are falling apart, what is on the other side of fear might be better than what you left behind.

How can you properly express your emotions when watching a horse take its first breath to seeing her shine in front of so many? We knew immediately when this foal was born that she was something special, but we never could have imagined what that truly meant.

We are so proud of this mare!!! Thank you to Preston Keeter of Midcrest Farms for working with her and bringing out the best in her.

The 2026 breeding season is slowing down, but it is never too early to begin planning for 2027.

This a 5yo Maiden mare (Luxe RCA x Mishaals Maali), who is a wonderful combination of Mishaal and Thee Desperado lines, through Thee Infidel. Being a larger Arabian, she still embodies the grace and elegant movement with the gentle temperament that these lines are renowned for.

We look forward to speaking with you regarding any interest in her, or you can reach out to Shawn Crews
