Back-to-school safety starts before the first bell. Whether students walk, bike, ride the bus, get dropped off, or drive themselves, a few simple reminders can help protect everyone on the road.
• Walkers: Use sidewalks and crosswalks, look both ways, and make eye contact with drivers before crossing.
• Bicyclists: Wear a properly fitted helmet, follow traffic rules, and choose safer routes when possible.
• Bus riders: Stay well back from the curb, wait for the bus to stop completely, and remain alert around the bus.
• Families at drop-off: Follow school procedures, slow down in school zones, and never pass a stopped school bus.
• Teen drivers: Buckle up, put phones away, obey speed limits, and stay focused behind the wheel.
At Mylet & Musselman Insurance Group, we are proud to support safer roads for Pennsylvania families. Please share these reminders with a student driver, parent, or caregiver in your life.
