🚨Monday Mortgage Market Update‼️📉

Good news for homebuyers and homeowners watching rates!

Following today’s announcement of a peace agreement in the Middle East, financial markets are reacting positively. One of the biggest impacts has been a sharp drop in oil prices, which helps ease inflation concerns.

As a result, bond markets are improving this morning, and mortgage-backed securities are trading higher—both positive signs for mortgage rates.

While rates can still change throughout the day, we’re currently seeing a slight improvement in pricing compared to the end of last week.

The takeaway? Geopolitical events don’t always help mortgage rates, but today’s news is creating a favorable environment for bonds and mortgage pricing.
