I became the lender I wish I’d had.
I still remember buying my first home and being handed a stack of paperwork with one simple instruction: “Just sign.”
The biggest financial decision of my life... and I didn’t really understand what I was signing. The numbers felt overwhelming, the terms sounded like another language, and I was too intimidated to ask questions. I honestly felt like maybe I was supposed to already know.
Looking back, I wish someone had looked at me and said, “Ask anything.”
So that’s exactly how I do things now.
Ask what a term means.
Ask why a number changed.
Ask the question you think is “dumb”—because I promise you, it isn’t.
If we need to go line by line through your closing documents, we’ll go line by line. I won’t rush you, and I won’t make you feel like you’re taking up my time.
You’re making one of the biggest financial investments of your life. You deserve to understand every page you sign.
To me, that’s not going above and beyond—it’s simply how every homebuyer should be treated. 🤍
If you’ve been putting off buying a home because the mortgage process feels confusing or overwhelming, send me a message. I’d love to help make it all make sense. 📲
