I'm so proud of her. After volunteering at another food pantry a few weeks ago, she wanted to continue serving others. Last Saturday, we volunteered at a food distribution event with the Hutto Resource Center.

You can probably tell by the color of my face that it was definitely a hot day, but it was absolutely worth it. We had a great experience, and the staff and fellow volunteers were wonderful to work alongside.

I was able to sign up through an app called Point, which makes it easy to find volunteer opportunities. If you're looking for ways to get involved and give back in your community, I highly recommend checking it out.

A special thank you to the Hutto Resource Center for the amazing work they do for the Hutto community and for making the day such a meaningful experience.

After a couple of months of my daughter asking to go back, Texell had the opportunity to volunteer at the Brighter Days Food Pantry in Leander last night. I am so grateful for the opportunity to share this experience with her, and give back to the community we call home.
