World Insurance has closed our office in Georgetown for the safety of our employees due to Tropical Storm Debby as of 2:00pm. We will reopen our doors on Friday morning at 8:30am. Hurricane Debby is slowly approaching and Georgetown County is now at Optcon 2. If you haven't already it is strongly recommended you begin preparations. Georgetown County Administration is monitoring the storm. You can follow their posts at https://www.gtcounty.org/446/Tropical-Storm-Debby. Bookmark this page for easy access to stay up to date with the progress of the storm. World Insurance is open and will remain open today. We will monitor the storm and let you know if our offices need to close for the safety of our employees in the coming days. Now is a good time to pull up your insurance documents in the event you need to file a claim. Know Your Zone is a public education campaign to inform the citizens and visitors of Horry County of the new hurricane evacuation zones and their vulnerability to storm surge.

The Georgetown SC World Insurance and World Payroll and HR groups teamed up for a fun night of Paint and Wine Friday night. Looks like we are good at more than just insurance and payroll. We had a great time painting, laughing and relaxing. We all hope to do this again real soon! Wonderful group!
