• Gifts over $19,000 → 📝 Form 709 required, but…
→ 💸 No tax owed unless total lifetime gifts exceed $13.99 MILLION!
Example:
👩‍👩‍👧 Your parents gift you $25,000
→ $6,000 above the limit
→ They file Form 709 (IRS requirement)
→ $0 tax owed — unless they’ve gifted over $13.99M total! 😅
Bottom line:
