🎉America’s 250th Celebration 🎉

For the month of October, we are celebrating our 39th US President, Jimmy Carter! Carter was born in Georgia on October 1, 1924. He graduated from the US Navy Academy in 1946 and served until 1953 when he took over his families Peanut 🥜 farm. After many years of political work, he was sworn in as the 39th President of the United States in 1977. Serving until 1981 he then left the political world and became a large advocate for Habitat for Humanity. In 1984 he and his wife, Rosalynn, launched the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project building thousands of affordable homes for Americans.

Stop by your favorite branch for a nutty birthday treat to celebrate America’s 250th! ❤️🤍💙
